Ambitious Type (14% of people)

They like to get results, act, control, decide, direct, develop, inspire, create, solve problems, and tackle challenges. They may be daring, demanding, forceful, driven, egocentric, determined, ambitious, aggressive, impatient, strong-willed, quick, pioneers, restless, & impulsive.

The way to work with them is to respect them, talk fast with them, stay focused, use bullet points, change, and variety, let them lead, let them think it’s their idea, give choices, and expect fast decisions. They may need your help to calm down, and to weigh pros and cons.

Fun Type (29% of people)

They like fun, people, entertainment, recognition, and enthusiasm. They are influential, emotional, optimistic, expressive, outgoing, magnetic, warm, demonstrative, trusting, inspiring, persuasive, & random. They may challenge the rules, want independence, be stubborn, opinionated, willful, and careless with details.

The way to work with them is to give them recognition, make it fun, colorful, humorous, entertaining and creative. Simplify details and expect fast decisions. They may need firmness, deadlines, priorities, and help managing details.

Secure Type (38%)

They like predictable, secure, consistent, calm, unemotional, deliberate, research, and to work in the background. They
are stable, cooperative, relaxed, patient, diplomatic, sympathetic, and good listeners. They may be conservative, low-key,
cooperative, mild, agreeable, modest, peaceful, and cautious.

The way to work with them is to provide research, be patient, expect slow decisions (and loyalty), check back, and ask, “What would it take for you to know if this is for you?” Encourage creativity. Give appreciation and approval.

Careful Type (19%)

They like facts, data, rules, regulation, structure, quality, and excellence. They are analytical, orderly, compliant, concerned, deliberate, conscious, systematic, objective, perfectionists, accurate, careful, cautious, exacting, neat, tactful, correct planners. They may be skeptical, critical, logical, suspicious, withdrawn, or pessimistic.

The way to work with them is to provide lots of facts , figures, confirmation, and affirmation. Be patient, expect slow decisions, and use words like: “It’s logical…”, “It’s a fact…”, “Research proves…” They may need help with respect and tolerance for others.

The best way to relate to and communicate with each type is to be like them!! Mirror them, match them.

Get on their wavelength, adopt their words, speed & style, even mirror their body language. It might seem funny for you to do that, but they won’t even notice you are doing it. They will say, “I don’t know why, but I LIKE this person (you)!” They will feel a rapport with you. We LIKE people who are like US!
