Do you ever get the feeling that this is a lot of work?
You didn’t expect that it would be this hard?
With network marketing, marriage, parenting or health?
I hear many people say that they did not expect that marriage would be work, or require this much of them. Heard many network marketers struggled for years before they reach success. Many parents reach for patience and energy they did not know they had. And many people are amazed at the discipline that their health requires of them.
An example in my own life: A stray cat recently adopted me. He is very loving, but he came with mites. I found myself giving him vinegar baths outside, with a coat on as he climbed all over me. Then he needed to be neutered. Then he needed to stay in my house two days to heal while he climbed the walls because he was used to being outside. And he had to get used my dog. That took a lot of time on my part. And he eats a lot! It was more than I bargained for, but we are settling in. He is very loving, and good for our little family.
I feel the same way about internet marketing. This is how I connect with network marketers who need my help. It’s been a long learning curve!
“I have to learn what?” “I have to do what?” “I have to buy what?” “I have to hire who?” LOL
My point is that life requires a price for what we ask. Because that price purifies us to be able to receive what we asked for. The price allows us to value the goal when we reach it. The price also allows us to reach it by polishing and purifying our little selves, who would otherwise get in the way.
In network marketing, you may ask for a successful business. You may ask for $1 million, when you don’t act like it. Then Life says, “Well, we’ve got to get you polished up to be able to get that. We need to make you kinder, a better listener, more focused, more caring, less distracted, less scared, we’ve got to upgrade your skills so you can invite and close and train your team.”
Life says to you, “You’re asking for freedom. Are you willing to pay the price? Are you willing to become the better person necessary to get that?”
As Jim Rohn says, the million dollars is a good goal, but the real prize is the person you become on your way to that: the person that you become in order to get that!
