I’m Waiting for You – 4 Stories

By  Bess McCarty

im-waiting-for-youDidn’t you say no to network marketing before you joined? It helps to remember.  Stay in touch with people.  Their clock has to come around to High Noon before they’re ready.  Don’t give up on people who are at 3, 6, or 9 o’clock: Know that clocks move, things change, we get more ready in time. It’s a process!

Here is advice from Eric, and 4 stories for you…

I said “no” when I was approached by my college roommate my freshman year. I did not think what the company was offering was going to be in demand, and as a broke college student I thought the startup fee was Astronomical, haha. And then, sadly, I forgot all about Network Marketing. I’ve googled “how to get rich” so many times over the years, but google nor anyone else never brought up NM. Fortunately, NM was reintroduced to me 6 years later, and now I’m in Love with it.”~ Troy Moten

I certainly was one of the people who said NO to Network Marketing multiple times. Took my sponsor over a year of building a relationship with me enough that when circumstances changed for me, I was ready to open my mind and try something new. Then what did I do? I was a poser and amateur for a few years, ha ha ha. Good thing I’ve decided to Go Pro!! Thanks Eric! ~ David A Haines

“No” means “not now” … this is SO true! I was first approached about Network Marketing in 1990, I said “no” because the time wasn’t right for me. In 2001 I was desperate for an extra income and I went looking for some and I found Network Marketing. I turned down the first few opportunities because I didn’t feel comfortable about them and then I joined the third company I looked at. That was more than twelve years ago. Had the first person from 1990 kept in touch with me, like a professional should, I may well have joined his company when, eventually, the timing was right for me (he was a great guy, one of my customers, and somebody I had a great deal of respect for, but he didn’t stay in touch).  ~ Seamus Houghton

In early November I left a voice mail, sent an email and called someone back… for about the 100th time in the last 4-5 years. They were angry, upset and scared about something and they spent some wrath on me. They demanded removal from my list, to never be called again and to please refrain from ever offering my opportunity anywhere near them ever again. I deleted them from outlook and was a little sad. The next week I was in a hurry and sent out a new ‘blast’ email to the same group as the week before. When the phone rang with their name I was horrified and was looking for my best apology voice and script. They called to beg me to let them join and help them stop the madness they have been playing for years. No only means no now. …

MasterCard ignored my phone calls for nearly 7 months. I left one every day first thing. When they called back they became my best customer ever for the next 3 years. Change your thinking to support a universe that works for everyone. NO never means no forever, if even today.” ~ Michael Eisbrener

There is nothing quite so sacred and beautiful as that moment of working with a person who has a personal and spiritual transformation, as a certain magic happens that is beyond us both."
